With easy motorway and TGV access (Montpellier-Paris in 3h15), and Montpellier-Méditerranée International Airport nearby, Sète is an ideal port of call.

The port is strategically located at a short distance from iconic Barcelona (154 NM) and the fast growing Marseilles (80 NM). Access to the port, well sheltered from prevailing winds, is safe and reliable.

The completely fenced-in and ISPS certified port offers today two dedicated berths for cruise ships.

 

1. “Quai d’Alger” accommodates ships with a maximum length of 200 M and a draft of 7.40 M. Here guests are received at a bright and attractive cruise terminal offering a Wi-Fi hot spot, a tourist information office, a shop and currency exchange at a mere 5-10 walk from the city center.  The adjacent parking space accommodates up to 12 tour coaches and a taxi stand.
2. Pier “P2” inside the port with easy access to the highway. It accommodates vessels up to 225 M LOA (>240 M on request) and a draft of 10 meters. A shuttle service to town is provided (one bus, courtesy of the Sete Cruise Club.)

NEW! : Dolphin berth “Epi Dellon” - a new berthing facility for large vessels of 240-350 meters LOA, sheltered by the breakwater and ready in April 2016. It requires 10 minutes tendering to the downtown cruise terminal.

A new-for-April 2016 but not-dedicated commercial berth “H2” could accommodate, if available, a vessel up to 300 meters LOA and a draft of max. 13.5 meter in a fallback situation.

Each year, the port welcomes dozens of cruise liners for stopovers. With five UNESCO “World Heritage” sites accessible from the port of Sète, with a wonderful variety of landscapes, traditions and talents, Languedoc-Roussillon is an extraordinary garden to explore, discover and taste.
